Born and raised along the coastal stretches of Pelican Crest, Officer Scarlett Mercer developed an intimate knowledge of the town’s waterways, tides, and close-knit shoreline communities from a young age. Growing up with the ocean practically in her front yard, her connection to the local waters shaped both her strong sense of community responsibility and her career path.

Before taking the oath with the Pelican Crest Police Department, Scarlett served 4 years active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, specializing in maritime law enforcement. Her service included tactical waterborne interdictions, search-and-rescue operations, and harbor safety enforcement.

Seeking to bring her expertise back home, she transitioned to the Pelican Crest Police Department three years ago. Her tactical military background and deep understanding of maritime security make her a pivotal asset, often bridging the gap between land-based patrol duties and coastal law enforcement operations.

Known for her sharp intuition, calm demeanor under pressure, and meticulous tactical approach, Officer Mercer is highly respected by her peers. Whether patrolling the local beats or assisting in coastal search-and-rescue missions, she approaches every shift with deep dedication to protecting the town she calls home.
